Built in Yenikapı—Istanbul’s oldest settlement, with a history dating back 8,500 years—the Eurasia Performance and Arts Center’s primary mission is to contribute to Istanbul’s brand value. The center was built in 2017 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to boost tourism in Istanbul.
The building’s roof structure consists of a double-layered membrane system stretched over arch-shaped steel beams.
